SCX/Slot.It Gear Combo

Would anyone know if SCX pinions play well with SlotIt crown gears?
Due to some factory-bent axles, I need to redo an SCX Fiesta 4WD rally car. Would rather leave the two factory installed pinions if possible.

They work fine. I've used many Slot It crowns with the 9, 10, 11-tooth SCX standard and pro pinions.
