Scalextric purple charger detail

Having bought a couple chargers from scalex before I found something new.
Hood pins. (tampo graphic)
Not found on the black,, red, or maroon charger.

It's a nice metallic too. I'm gonna pull the blower and blacken the hood I think.
Scalex please ditch the blower look.

Agree regarding the blower, though I'm sure that look really appeals to some youngsters. If I was in a hobby shop with my grandson when he was about 8 years old I'm sure he would have begged me to get a car like that.

Does the blower mount to the hood, or come up through a hole in the hood?

I believe it sits on the hood and has a tiny hole in it.

There is about a 1/8th hole in the hood for a locating pin
