NSR 917K?

Hi,

I'm considering an NSR 917K white kit because I want the #23 1970 Herrmann/Attwood livery which I think is difficult to find now. So I will attempt recreating this livery with the aid of decals. I am wondering how well these cars go without magnet? I have seen Harry's video review on the #19 Gulf livery car and note the magnet in the pod but I am not sure if you are running magnabraid on your layout Harry? I generally prefer running without mag but do have have some mag cars that I also like to run.

The NSR 917k is a good car. Easy to set up/tune. Mag or no mag, you can’t go wrong.

I have the No. 2 Gulf car and it's amazing! It's super fast and handles like a dream. You can't go wrong, like others have said.

Just make sure you true the rear tires enough to keep them from hitting the body if you run the car with body rock.

I have the gulf too. Great running car on wood (braid). Definitely true the tires and possibly try an appropriate tire for your track, and setup the front axle. In saying that, I just setup the front axle (need a new tire truer) and it ran fantastic.
