The CanAm dance is certainly one of the most interesting ones to me

Very well done - love all the cars. Slot cars are so ridiculously not to scale when it comes to speed it's practically impossible to match an actual sound track to them racing. I liked how you mixed in 'majestic' music so the viewer can just enjoy the track and cars.

You had me when the video opened with Shadows on the track, and I also really like the Castrol BRM.

              Steve,
Great video and once again, everytime I see your track I'm simply gobsmacked!!!
Please tell me how did you form the track and rails to make hills?
              Best Regards,
              Jack

I just use Carrera hill sections and normal track pieces. I don't bend anything. here is a pic of a pretty steep hill section.....hopefully you can make out the use of the stock hill track sections. hope this helps. Click image for larger version

                  Hi,
Yeah the track is a work of art!!!
Maybe I should have said "Hump" as in the video it appears that you have a small hill (hump) going from level to a small rise -maybe 1 section of track and then back down to level.
So are you saying Carrera has these track pieces as pre-made?
                  Thanks again,
P,S, I believe a long time ago you had a video that showed your whole track - sort of done as a fly over!!!
That was awesome and just blew me away!!!
Is that video still up on you tube?
                  Jack

yes i use normal Carrera track sections.....the (Carrera 20587 Ramp Bridge Crossing) for the up and downs and extend height, length, etc. with normal sections.
That video was a long time ago.....i will look for it, it should still be on utube,

Yes, I agree... very nicely done! Between the scenery and the painted track surface, you have proved once again that our hobby goes beyond just racing.
There is A LOT of modeling going on as well, in all scales. The commercial track Lexan blobs ( which I've raced for many years, as well) are a different segment of the hobby, where in many cases speed rules above all else. And I can still enjoy some laps with a smooth running Flexi Kar or Womp on a clean commercial raceway, for sure.
Thanks for a very entertaining demonstration of our beloved hobby, Model Car Racing... Enjoy! -- Ernie
