Trans Am Mustangs = Slot cars

I shot the Scalextric slot cars with the real cars last weekend at Sebring. I took the Follmer car and a Javelin with me to shoot with the real cars. Today I posted these on FB.

Hey Dave.. Really cool pics My favorite Trans Am car for sure.
Is there any difference between the new release and the older model?
Also, has the bighead driver been replaced ?
