I enjoyed watching this. What scale RR buildings are you using? I just ordered a O scale I know 1/32 falls in between O and G so???
thanks, Glenn -
Glenn, thanks so much for watching!
For the 'Park' area of our track, the gates are a 1/35 scale scenery/diorama kit made by Mini Art. I made the gates functional by adding working hinges to allow different angles to them as needed. The gazebo is made for Christmas dioramas and was purchased at our local DIY store (Lowes) at the end of season sale along with the park benches. The stone walls were scratch built and the Vespa scooters and Indian motorcycles are made by New Ray. The entry 'gate' is a vintage Scalextric item with the cars being 1/32 scale diecast items.
The grass and trees are woodland scenic items that are rail scenery items, but as far as structures, they are 1/35 or 1/32 scale military diorama items and slot car track items.
I hope this helps,

Hi John, I have enjoyed your videos. I did not realize you were in the GTA. Panther Hobbies is my local shop too. I agree, the train layouts in the back room are amazing and always worth a visit. Keep up the good work! Cheers RvERalph

JerzyGuy, thanks so much for watching and posting!
Your track looks just great!!
The backdrop on our track was created using freeware for murals. My daughter and I did it quite a while ago and I have to look up the name of the software/program. We then found a very high resolution panoramic photo of a Belgian landscape as our track is an homage to Spa, loaded it into the software and the program printed the image as 'tiles which we then glued to foam core and mounted on the wall.
I hope this helps!
Thanks,
😊
