Yes, the helmet maybe off...but I'll still race it. It ain't for dioramas, it's for racing

That helmet is a little doofy lookin however putting that aside this is a great looking little car. How ironic I was just looking at this one online the other day. Its often baffled me that some manufacturers put such detail in to a driver that will spend its time under a roof and rarely ever even looked at. However when the same manufacturer produces a formula car with no roof and the driver is almost the focal point of the unit and they absolutely rush through it and put something into production that probably wouldn't even like right if there was a roof over the drivers head! I have seen this done with pilots as well within the RC industry. There's some real wild eyed pilots out there.

Great picture, I really like the way you set the car up in its natural habitat. The real image is a great addition as well. For the sake of conversation what is the purpose / function of beer keg looking device this car drug around that sits to the back of the motor on the right hand side near the right exhaust?

Enjoy your car, it looks like a fun one!

Well.....I have avoided the Policar F1s because they are so much faster than the Scalex classics. But the March has been calling to me......that rear end detail is really fantastic.

That thing looks great! I won’t be able to see the helmet at speed anyway, just like real world racing.

          It's the oil tank.

Aaahhh ha! The oil tank, now that makes sense. Well, actually not really haha. Just goes to show you how far the safety aspect has come. Nothing like backing the 701 into a wall at 35 MPH and splitting the oil tank just to have it dribbled all over the racing surface. Not to mention the rear end collision.
This is a great looking car though, just might need to pick one up when my hobby fund is replenished.
