    Jim, u going to post results or, better yet, some video? I understand the F1 race had the top 4 participants on the same lap at the finish?

    I only time to the millisecond (ms = 0.001) and have never had a tie when qualifying 20 cars. I assume 2nd best lap time is the tie breaker.

    What program are you using to time laps?

    That's a screen from the old SRT timing system used by a lot of commercial raceways.

      If I recall correctly those old timing systems had a glitch where the same exact lap times would show up over and over. An explanation of why that would happen was posted many years ago, it had something to do with the clock speed of the computer.

        Yes, and the slower the computer the more ties. SRT runs off of DOS

        I really liked the SRT lap counters but the problem with them is finding a computer that has DOS and a printer that will work on that computer.
