Bob, t hat's a nice lookin 55. I did this one a few years back and a local guy that had a yellow/white 55 finally talked me into selling it to him. It has an EJ's brass chassis and FK motor. Click image for larger version

Are these cars made using SnapTite bodies?

Yes, that was what I used on this one, I usually make the chassis out of brass.

For an excellent option to the ridiculous prices for Snap Tite cars, here's a 55' I've been piddling with that uses a Mark Thomas '55 body:

LAMing - what chassis did you use for the Mark Thomas Chevy? I'm getting 2 of them ('55 Chevy & '56 Ford) and am thinking ahead.

Andre, I got 6 of these at another model show for $5.00 each.

            Another "ya done good" deals.

IF those have the little snap tite engines within... DON'T THROW THEM AWAY. You will regret it. (Don't ask.) The little engines can really make some nifty looking exposed engines for super modified's.

I gave 5-6 at a local show for the 55 kit, 20 years ago. I still see them but have never checked the price. I'm sure they can be had pretty cheap if yo get out of the ebay world.
