Looks great and a car and livery no one has. Im sure it will be faster than the stock carrera car.
good luck on getting that rear body post set up. The rear post looks challanging being at the rear window, show us when you get it done.
you still have a very heavy body and interior. Lexan interior will help, but the body is still carrera heavy. it looks great.
I have 3dprinted chassis under a carrera 488, and i have trouble with car handling with the heavy body. Hard to correct top heavyLast edited by lance; February 19, 2022, 07:07 PM.Lance Sofa racer, SA TX by way of Hawaii

The body weighs 35gm so it will never be competitive with the other GT3’s but I really wanted to add the Ferrari to the field. I like the interior detail so will probably keep it. If I have time between my next few projects I may get out the Dremel and do some grinding. The pod I had on hand is 0.75 offset which may help lower the COG a little.

Got it on the track today and was pleasantly surprised. Lap times put in the middle of my GT3 field. Final weight is 92 grams with the lead near the guide. Because of the weight, I switched to a Piranha 25K because it seems to have more punch on acceleration and stronger braking than the NSR Shark I use in most of this class even though both are 25K/180gm. I want to test the Predator oin a car I am more familiar with so I can get a fair evaluation, so it went back to the parts box for now. Body mount posts are 3/16” brass tubing with SCC body post repair inserts epoxied to the interior tray.Mike V.
