I have a drawer full of these cars because they made such great looking bodies, but I've never been a fan of the slim line motors. We had a club member, the late Gerry (Goose) Gosset who could tune these so you felt like you were driving a Slot It around the track.
Due to being stuck at home, (COVID made it inside the family circle) I've been fooling with this car. I originally built it on an old Monogram brass chassis to go with the coupe but the old motor finally gave up the ghost, so I found an extra Sebring chassis in the spares drawer.
This probably isn't the best body to work with but I figured that If I can make this run very well then the Chaparrals and Porsche 910s will be a piece of cake. I don't know if I'll ever get it as smooth as Goose might have but I think I'm
