    1953 Porsche 550 Coupe PanAmerica.
This beauty was cast by John Warren down in New Zealand. I bothered him for years to send me one! Think there’s only a few of these in existence. Decorated with decals that Scott Kozokas made for me. Was able to squeeze a Revell 550 Porsche Spyder chassis under it. Just make a few passes a year with it and make varoom varoom sounds, outloud! Even have a picture of the 1:1 on the wall in my slotroom. Pretty sure this car ranks up in my top 5 all time.

Those are both really nice Scott. I’m wondering though, when you make the vroom vroom sound dose it have the funny squeal that the air cooled Porsche/VWs get?

I try to get a good nasal squeal in between varrooms, but keeps coming out like more of a snort!

I worked with John to develop that 550 coupe mold from an older body. It was my entry in the 2nd La Carrera Panamericana Proxy, which was, I think, about 5 years ago. John lightened the body for me and it worked out very well. Will post a pic if I can find the car......... My other entry that year was a Gordini - also a Munter resin chassis. Both cars are on the small size car side, but race well with other equally proportioned cars. I have both of these sitting on Slot.It HRS-2 chassis with SW configuration pods.

Now I remember, yep at least 5 years ago. Believe there were two different versions of the 550 he came up with then? Have the pics somewhere I think.

That 550 coupe is a beauty - I've never seen one before. I have most of the Ninco classics, including the 356 pictured. I still drive them on a regular basis - love 'em.
