  • Porsche 917/30 body

Has anybody ever purchased one of theses from ncphobbies? Im thinking about using it in the 2020 Can-am Proxy.
If so i need some info.
    How much does it weigh,
    How wide is it
and what is the estimated wheel base.

    Thanks in advance

Pretty sure you'll find that's a 917/10, not a 917/30... The front ends are different....

I used to have one of those bodies. From my recollection I would say it's on the heavy side and rather long & narrow.

          Courtney,
i used to have that one. They are repops of Cox Superscale cars as I recall. I sold mine when the Fly 917-10s came out.

Not at all to scale...but all that was available in the 90s. Definitely long and narrow, and NOT a 917-30.

If you happen to have $150 hanging around taking up space in your wallet you can get this car from Electric Dreams.

Beautiful body to mount on your own chassis and you can even harvest the plastic wheels to make inserts.

A couple of years ago I bought the #59 Hurley Haywood 917/10 from ED for $60 and now it's pretty much my favorite Can-Am car and the only thing done to it is adding PG tires.

I can't imagine why you would give Phillipe $150 for a Fly car. Buy one off an auction for$35 and make your own. Bruce makes the decals.

Bruce Pattos, I believe. He's out of Australia.
