Great video! And I agree, anything Jim Hall is great to see going around.

YES sir I have all ways liked those high wing can am cars. Have a nice resin kit of the mclaren m6b high wing car. It has done laps but non in race mode. One good roll over and the wing and struts would done. And with kit no longer being made I would be sol.

Nice review! I'd love to see Slot.It produce more high-wing Can Am cars to compete against the Chaparral. Hopefully, there is enough interest in Europe to support more of these Can Am cars. I know many of us North Americans would love to get our hands on more of 'em!

I have the slot.it Chaparral and Matra-Simca. I use Quick Slicks as well. They are fun cars but, I have always had traction problems with them on my track, which has a lot of pretty aggressive turns. There just doesn't seem to be enough room to add weight where it will help the most.

And then there’s the M8D McLeagle that Gurney never made and Slot.it never produced. (Love those white kits… thank you, Maurizio)

I have the same Chaparral #66 from the set pair. Love it, so smooth and easy to drive, even with the stock slotit motor

I'm really surprised that slot it or any other modern brand does not produce any of the other Chapparral cars such as the 2a 2c and 2d

MRRC did the Monogram 2A. Eldon sorta did the 2C and the early 2D, and of course Strombecker did the snorkel 2D that won Nurburging.

So Slot.It did the 2E which wasn't available, and supposedly is working on the 2G which also isn't available. But yes, it would be great to have a nice 2C with the flipper spoiler.

Slot.it is doing the 2F. Not sure of the projected release date.

One site has it up for preorder though that’s a bit premature.

Scalextric and MRRC also made the 2F, I have 5 of them.

That is unfortunate since there are so many 2F models already. Doubtless the Slot.It will be a good one, though.
