    Readily available and cheap, this is one of the easiest cars to tune I ever bought. Alloys and decent tyres on the rear, glued/trued stock fronts, glue the motor in, fit a SlotIt crown, remove guide slop + ballast and these go GREAT!

    ...stick a quicker motor in and it'll surprise you even more

      Such a cool trip down Slot Car Memory Lane. I have three of these gems that were also hiding in the abyss, just waiting for tune up and track time. Thanks for the video and Happy Thanksgiving week.

          Love my Porsche GT1s. I didn't ever have the Mercs, but they are nice cars and great for visitors and new racers. Yup, they can be tuned and (like Fly cars) will run nicely. Just a blast to play with.
          My Mercs are the Artin variety....less detail than the Nincos but comparable speed at least with the NC1 motored cars.
