Looks like you're winning everything, guess I'll have to come back to Ca. and give you a some competition.

Jim is a tough racer. His cars are well prepared and he consistantly places on the podium. He is just as good in HO too.
Fortunately, there are a few of us gunning for him.

Jim and I are long time friends and competitors. When I lived in Roseville Ca., there were five routed tracks including mine in our group. We had some great times. His ability to learn a new track and start winning on it is amazing.

Got to work on my GT3 car. Maybe build another one too.

Most all of these race reports would be much better if there were pix of the track to understand the challenge.

It might be the angle of the picture but the track looks completely flat with no banking . If that's the case I think the Gold Country guys would have trouble adjusting. All of our tracks have a lot of elevation changes.

It looks like this track would want a lot of light brakes and letting the cars roll the corners. I look forward to seeing the results of the second race in the challenge.

It is perfectly flat. My brake pot went out just before the race started, so I was stuck with 100% brakes for all 3 races. Since I usually use about 80-90% brakes it wasn't too bad, but still would have like to have the adjustability.
        Working...
