  • Some "new" clunkers.

I picked these up a model kit show. Paid a total of $4.00 for them. A old AMT 40 ford and MPC Triumph TR4. The wheel openings on the TR4 have been opened up quite a bit. We'll see what can be done with them as future projects.

Nice finds! That TR4 might need some flares on those hogged out fenders.....could be an interesting hot rod in A Modified.....

The old Ford is a favorite...but I had to smile when I read Chappy's reply. I was thinking the same "flare time" approach!

I think the flares idea may be the best way to make something out of the butchered TR-4. But be careful. We've all seen crazy huge flares on slot cars that make them look like they have mushrooms growing from the sides. I have seen some that clearly have flares that are a scale foot or more sticking out, and would never work in real life.

Very nice Denny! I agree Rob! Hey Denny, when you upload a picture, there will be a list of picture sizes. Hit full size and you will get a big picture instead. Just found that out on my own!

                      Did someone mention fender flares?
Why doesn't my car run like that?

Just showing that the TR4 can be saved with flares.
                            But thank you.
